WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?

Psychotherapy is a space to explore your inner world with honesty, compassion, and support. It’s not about being “fixed” or told what to do — it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and creating meaningful change from within.

Through conversation and reflection, therapy helps you uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others. It’s a process that unfolds at your pace, in a relationship built on safety and trust.

Psychotherapy can help you:

  • Heal from trauma and painful experiences
  • Understand and work through difficult emotions and unhelpful thought patterns
  • Build self-awareness, confidence, and trust
  • Develop healthier relationships
  • Cultivate self-compassion and emotional balance
  • Feel more grounded and connected in daily life

Psychotherapy is not advice-giving or venting without direction. It’s an intentional, collaborative process that supports healing, growth, and resilience.

WHAT TO EXPECT ?

Beginning therapy can feel uncertain — and that’s completely understandable.

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. You can share your best hopes, ask questions, and get a sense of what it’s like for us to work together.

Sessions are 55 minutes long and held virtually using a secure and confidential platform. Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory; others may be more focused on practical tools or strategies. The process is guided by your needs and comfort.

Therapy can bring relief and insight, but also moments of challenge or vulnerability. All of these experiences are part of the healing process — we move through them together, with gentleness and care.
