ABOUT ME

Psychotherapy is my second career, following many years in statistical modelling and analytics. I eventually transitioned into therapy to do work that feels more connected and purposeful. What drew me to psychotherapy is the resilience I see in people — the courage it takes to turn inward and face what hurts or isn’t working, and the capacity we all have to grow through that process. I’m continually moved by the moments when self-understanding opens the door to peace, possibility, and self-acceptance.

I see psychotherapy as a space where mind, heart and soul intersect. My analytical background helps me notice patterns, connections, and recurring thought processes in a way that can support clarity and insight. This allows us to understand your experiences more fully — not as an incomplete or clouded story of pain or limitation, but as a complex, holistic story of resilience, growth, and possibility.

My approach draws on several evidence-based approaches – including IFS, CPT, Exposure-Based Therapies, SFBT, Mindful Self-Compassion – all of which are steeped in mindfulness. This means that even as we address difficult experiences, emotions or thought patterns, we do so with presence, compassion, curiosity, and connection. My goal is to create a space that meets the unique needs of individuals and feels grounded, respectful, compassionate, and collaborative, where all parts of you are welcome.
